Our technical assistance provides new ideas, resources, and capacity for building transit-oriented development, or “TOD”. Well-done TOD takes advantage of nearby transit to create desirable places to live, work, and visit that feature amenities like entertainment venues, parks, retail, restaurants, improved pedestrian environments and diverse housing choices. Local or regional governments with an active federally funded transit project (such as New Starts, Small Starts, or TIGER) are eligible to apply.

To learn more about this opportunity and the application process, join us for an informational webinar on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 1:00 pm EDT. This online event is free, but registration is required.

As part of that webinar we’ll provide an overview of the application process and tips on what we look for in successful applications. It will also be an opportunity to ask questions about your project and its eligibility.

Development near transit can help local communities grow their economies, achieve their social equity goals, and improve quality of life for everyone. We’re here to help make that happen. Learn more about our free technical assistance today.
