We are here to help urban planners, transportation professionals, local elected leaders, staff in municipalities and regional agencies, community advocates, real estate developers, and concerned residents better understand and ultimately realize the potential benefits of TOD, and to showcase ways communities can get more out of their development near transit. Here are ways this project does that.

On-site (local) technical assistance
Each year, we award free technical assistance to communities to help plan for and manage equitable economic development near transit through effective zoning and land use by providing expert advice on preserving affordable housing, securing advantageous commercial development, improving transit access and other transportation connections, among many other issues.
